explanation of artifacts
In the pictures above you can see that they each have at least 2 to 3 views. The views are front view, top view, and right side view. Also as you can see the scaling is correct, and objects with circles and arches. All of the standards above were met, and you can see that in all the pictures above.
reflection
I met this standard by watching all the instructional videos provided to us by Mr. Grummer. At first this standard was a little difficult, but after the first drawing I got a hang of it. In these units we had to learn the different layers such as hidden, construction, center, and object. These drawings were simple to do, but at the moment were a bit hard. When making figures that involve circles and arches it is very important to know all the different types of circle commands. It is also very important to know how to trim. Trimming is a very important thing in the work of engineering and architecture because of the fact that if you don't trim your project will just look like a hot mess.
This standard has real- world application because if and when I become an engineer or an architect I will need to know all the things that have to do with multiple view drawings, drawing figures with circles and arches, etc.
This standard has inspired me to further discover my engineering or architectural career as a whole because I felt so confident doing all the work. Also, it has inspired me to further discover doing harder figures and harder drawings using AutoCAD and any other AutoCAD- like computer software. Being able to do all these standards that have to do with standard 11 is very important in the class of Intro.
