Course standard 2 is about how to demonstrate and explain the preparation of site plans. Standard 2.1 states to research and describe general codes related to site planning. What I found was that general codes are made to provide minimum standards for the protection of life, limb, property, environment and for the safety and welfare of the consumer. Standard 2.2 says to identify and restate topology and pertinent information on an existing site plan, including meridian arrow, contour lines, property lines, and utility mains. 2.4 Demonstrate the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software related to preparing site plans. I met his standard by doing my research on general codes and site plans. This standard has real-world application because if you ever want to be an architect and design buildings you need to know how to do it to code. My future goals related to this standard are just to become more familiar with the general codes for different site plans.
