These pictures show evidence of producing geometric shapes and applying center lines and correct dimensions. We used our knowledge of geometric shapes to crate these drawings for unit 4 in Intro to Drafting class.

The pictures above show as evidence that I used standard 10.1 and 10.3 because of the sheer fact that I used circles and arches for most of these drawings. With using circles comes using center lines because when you make a figure with circles you have to mark where the center of each circle is by sing a center line under the center layer.

I met this standard by paying close attention and putting great detail into what I was doing while making the figures above. While making these figures I had to learn how to use new commands such as snap to tangent, tan- tan- tan, and tan- tan- radius in order to be able to create the figures that have an excessive amount of circles in them. While I was dimensioning I used the help of Uncle Jim from the video Mr. Grummer showed us in class. his tips and keys were very important to my dimensioning experience.
This standard has real- world application because if I decide to become either an engineer or an architect I will need to know how to se different commands on AutoCAD and other programs such as AutoCAD. Also I will need to know at least the basics of knowing how to make a geometric shape.
This standard has inspired me to further discover making different figures and different shapes with AutoCAD. Also it has inspired me to work harder and learn more useful things with AutoCAD. While using AutoCAD I have learned a great deal of information and hope to continue learning more and more commands. Also It has inspired me to further discover Intro class as a whole because all these standards are very crucial in any drawing or floor plan you do.
